Motorola rolls out voice notifications via updated app

This could be fun. It could get pretty annoying soon after too. But we like the sound of the updated Touchless Control app from Motorola right now.

If you have a Moto phone, update (or get) the Touchless Control app and you'll be able to hear your notifications read out to you. That's not going to be annoying on the bus or train. Oh no. But probably very useful for social media addicts in the car.

All you have to do is ask 'what's up?' and you'll hear what notifications have built up on your phone. Alternatively, if that's a little too 'slang' for you, then you can always say 'read notifications' instead. Either works. In fact, it's available in Italian and Spanish too, so you can always test out your language skills with it as well.

Downside? Check which Motorola phone you have. The list of compatible phone currently shows as the Moto X, Droid Ultra, Mini and Maxx. Crucially, the Moto G doesn't seem to be showing. Maybe that will follow.

In the meantime, if you have one of the listed phones, go get the app or the update now.
