Away from all the updates coming from Mobile World Congress, Orange has quietly launched two new smartphones, the Gova and Reyo, for its European market.
The Gova will be Orange’s fastest own-brand 4G smartphone to date, while the Orange Reyo has a 5” screen with longer battery life capable of a full day of multimedia use. The phones will rock Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system, 5-megapixel camera, HD voice and dual-core 1.3 GHz processors.
Orange has been bolstered by very good sales figures – sales of their own range of smartphones grew by 40 per cent year on year (2012-2013) across its European footprint.
The Orange Gova will be available from April onwards in Poland, Spain, Slovakia, and Luxembourg as well as Moldova, Tunisia and Mauritius. The Orange Reyo is available now in Spain, Slovakia, Romania and Poland. Price points will be different in the different countries and unfortunately, there are no plans for these handsets to be introduced in the UK for now.
