We are already anticipating the next batch of Samsung launches at MWC in February, but before that, the kit that Samsung launched at CES is making its way to the shelves. Heading the pack is the 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro. Samsung has revealed both the pricing and the date of availability for its supersized tablet, which is available to pre-order right now. If you want one, you are looking at £649 for the Wi-Fi model in either black or white. Tempted? Well, if you are quick (or one of the first 300 anyway), Samsung will throw in a Gamepad add-on to sweeten the deal. That's worth an additional £59 by the way. It is scheduled to ship on 4 February, so you haven't long to wait if you stick your order in at the Samsung Store today. Is it worth it? Well, that depends on the size of tablet you need or want. Size is obviously the selling point here, with a 12.2-inch 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution WQXGA display heading up the specification. It's backed up with that Note essential, the S-Pen, along with an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-camera, 3GB RAM, a choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage, a strong 9500mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. If you opt for the Wi-Fi version currently on pre-order, you'll find the Exynos 5 Octa chip running the show inside. There's also Action Memo and S Finder pre-loaded, plus Samsung's latest Magazine UX software, which organises your news and blog content on the dashboard for easy access, along with those all-important social network updates. If that sells the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 to you, it's available to pre-order here.
