Nokia confirms MWC launch event

Nokia will be hosting an early morning event on Monday 24 February at Mobile World Congress, but as yet, it is purely guesswork when it comes to what we will see.

Saying that, the Nokia Lumia 1820 should be revealed as the company's new flagship phone, complete with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM,  5.2-inch 2K screen, a 3400mAh battery,  32GB of expandable storage and and some kind of impressive camera, which is what the Lumia seems to trade on these days.

There's also talk of another phablet from Nokia, going by the name of the Lumia 1525, with a 6-inch screen, top-end camera and (if the rumours are true) some kind of solar charging.

New to the rumour mill is the Nokia Lumia 1520V, which is said to be a smaller, but equally as powerful version of the original Lumia 1520 and of course, we might see the first Nokia Android phone. Overnight rumours suggest that will be called the Nokia X and will be aimed at emerging markets. The phone should have a 4-inch display, Qualcomm S4 processor, 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of storage, and 512MB RAM, but again, that's purely guesswork at this stage.

Some or perhaps all of that will launch in exactly one month's time. Unless we hear about something else, obviously.
