Nokia Lumia 929 pops up on pre-order page

Now this is an old one. Back in September we saw the first (and only) leak of the Nokia Lumia 929 from a usually reliable source. The weeks and months passed, but nothing actually launched. Looks like a launch might still be on the agenda though.

The phone has just made a second appearance, but this time via a network. Specifically, the Nokia Lumia 929 appeared on the pages of US network Verizon, although the listing was swiftly removed. But not fast enough to avoid a screengrab from a few eagle-eyed Lumia lovers.

Of course, that means the information is now in the public domain, matching up nicely with that earlier leak. You can see a shot of the phone above, with the details confirming a 5-inch Windows Phone will have a 1920 x 1080 display, a 20 megapixel PureView camera, a Qualcomm 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, NFC, 2GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage. All of that packed into a phone with a metal chassis, polycarbonate unibody and Gorilla Glass 3.

The leak suggests a launch is coming very soon and the phone itself shows nothing to indicate it will not be coming to the UK. MWC at the latest for the latest Lumia.
