ZTE Blade Q Mini now available in the UK

We know not everyone has the budget for a high-end smartphone and to be fair, so do the phone networks. With that in mind, the ZTE Blade Q Mini has just launched and looks worth a look if finances are tight.

The ZTE Blade Q Mini is available from today, but is a Virgin Media exclusive. So you'll be looking at that network for calls, texts and data if you do opt for it.

As for the phone, it offers a decent (for the money) specification, which includes a 4-inch 480 x 800 resolution IPS display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, 4GB of storage (which you can boost up to 32GB via the microSD slot) and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for the operating system.

That doesn't sound like a £60 phone, so there is potential value here (even if the Android OS is a couple of versions down). It should do all the basics more than adequately.

As for availability, you can nip into your local Virgin Media store to get your hands on one or try Argos and Sainsbury's supermarkets, both of which will be selling the phone too.
