CES 2014: Samsung unveils three Galaxy Tabs Pro models

Not content with showing off the 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro, Samsung has a few more tablets up its rather large sleeve. In fact, it has three versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tabs Pro coming your way.

We'e still not sure why Samsung is going 'Pro' with everything, but we would guess at it being a more premium offering than your average slates on the market. Indeed, all three of these models (8.4, 10.1 and 12.2-inch in size) certainly aren't lacking power and features.

All three (obviously) differ in size, but like the Note from yesterday, there is an option for processor too. Basically. if you want 4G, you'll get the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. If you don't, you'll have to settle for the Exynos 5 octa-core chip.

Beyond that, all have more-than-impressive 2560 x 1600 resolution screens, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, a strong 9500mAh battery and up to 32GB of storage, which can be boosted via microSD. You'll find 3GB RAM in the largest tablet with 2GB in the other two models.

Again, like the Note, you get multitasking options and the pre-loaded content (whether you like it or not), with the key new addition being the Magazine UX interface. That organises your feeds and frequently accessed content on the dashboard. Probably something we want to play with to get a real feel for it, bit on paper, it sounds like a winner for your average tablet user.

The tablets will be available, alongside that Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 in the first few months of 2014, pricing to be confirmed.
