LG G Flex confirmed for international rollout

As expected, LG has announced a rollout of out the LG G Flex curved OLED smartphone outside of Korea and possibly into the UK.

The Hong Kong event confirmed (as you might have guessed) a launch in Hong Kong, followed by Singapore then other markets in Asia. After that, the curvy handset will makes its way to 'other regions', with the expectation that the European sales will be confirmed for early in 2014. So if you have been waiting patiently to be a pioneer with a bendy phone, there's not long to wait.

Details have already been confirmed and by and large remain unchanged. That means a phone with horizontally curved screen (a 6-inch, 720p curved OLED display), not to mention a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, high-fidelity audio recording and playback, dual-window app functionality and tap-to-wake control. Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 is the operating system right now (but that might change as we enter 2014), with a  'Self Healing' coating on the back cover also being a key selling point/

When we get the UK details, we will let you know more.
