LG G Flex could be rolling out internationally

If rumours are correct, the LG G Flex could be heading to the UK in the not-too-distant future.

You might recall that LG's curved screen phone launched back in October, with the UK generally expected to miss out on this quirky number. But all of that could be about to change. A Chinese site is claiming that LG will soon be hosting an event in Hong Kong (3 December), with invitations in the post. That event is said to confirm the international rollout of the LG G Flex.

It seems that the Orange network will be selling the handset in France, with the UK likely to see it too, although we will have to wait for the event to find out who will be offering it and for how much. But it seems that December will see the rollout, so the wait isn't likely to be a long one.

When it does land, you can pick up a phone with a horizontally curved screen, specifically a 6-inch, 720p curved OLED display, along with a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, high-fidelity audio recording and playback, dual-window app functionality and tap-to-wake control. Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 is the operating system, with the phone also boasting a 'Self Healing' coating on the back cover.

When we get those UK launch details, we'll let you know straight away.
