It's a company and a community that has made its name by selling well-priced SIM deals, but until now, GiffGaff hasn't got itself into the phone selling business. But with Christmas approaching, now seems the ideal time for a change of stance. You can now pick up a range of phones at GiffGaff. In fact, it's quite a large range of 20 phones, those being the HTC One, LG G2, Nokia 301, Lumia 520, Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, Lumia 625, BlackBerry Q10, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Young, Sony Xperia SP, Xperia Z1, Xperia E, Xperia M and Xperia Z. The missing phone is obviously an iPhone of any description. Maybe that will change over time. You can opt to pay upfront for the phone and choose your network (although GiffGaff will obviously hope you go with them) or you can get finance for your purchase - although that will come in a little more expensive. How much more expensive? Well if you go for Galaxy Note 3 (pictured above), you are paying £599.99 if you pay upfront. But if you do terms, a deal via finance deal comes in at between £626.36 to £653.36, depending on the deal you opt for. That's not bad and should be a better deal than going for a contract. But do the maths first.Likewise, check the upfront prices against other sellers too, as some of the GiffGaff deals work out cheaper, others not so.
