Sky Go gets a super sized update

Already a favourite on iOS, we heard last week that Sky Go was finally making its way to most Android tablets too. When it does, it's likely to come bearing gifts.

That's because Sky has just announced 14 new channels on the mobile TV service, bringing the total to 57 in all, available to watch on your (compatible) tablet or mobile phone. That total does depend on your TV subscription though.

The new channels are MTV, Comedy Central, Gold, Watch, Dave, Alibi, Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild, Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, History, Good Food and Eden, all of which are available from today if you update your app. You can even watch them offline if you pay the extra cash to download shows on the Extra service.

Talking of which, if you pay for that privilege, you'll be able to watch ABC Television on the go too, with box sets of major shows offered for mobile viewing.

Anyway, enough reading. You've got TV to watch.
