Press shot of Motorola Moto G leaks

We have been talking about a budget Motorola phone for Europe for months, but so far, no it has yet to become reality. That could change later this week.

An image of the Motorola Moto G has just leaked online, with @evleaks (the people behind it) adding that it is 'almost here'. The image above is the press shot in question, showing the phone in white, pink, turquoise and blue. A launch event is planned for 13 November, when we expect to see the finished product.

A document from Phones 4u leaked earlier, part of the company's Christmas literature and showing just what the phone will offer. That pointed to a 4.5-inch 720p screen (with Corning Gorilla Glass), a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and 8GB of storage.

Not exactly mind-blowing, but the final fact just might get you excited. That phone is said to be selling for £135, which looks great value. All should be confirmed in a couple of days, but if that is true, it could mean a Merry Christmas for Motorola in the UK. If it gets an update to Android KitKat before it hits the shelves, it should fly out.
