Nokia introduces the mid-range Lumia 1320

Interestingly, this one was under the radar until just yesterday, when it leaked as 'Batman'. The reality is the Nokia Lumia 1320.

At the right price in the UK, this could do really well. Similar to the Lumia 1520, it also features a 6-inch screen, albeit 720p HD screen made with Gorilla Glass 3, along with a 'super sensitive' touch screen.

The inner workings are scaled down too, with a 1.7GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 1GB RAM, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, 0.3-megapixel networking camera and 8GB of storage (although there is micro-SD support and 7GB of Skydrive cloud storage.

However, it does have all the apps available, offering Nokia Music and Here Maps, not to mention Nokia Camera and the new Nokia Storyteller app, not to mention 4G/LTE connectivity. Oh yes, Vine and Instagram too, which have been confirmed for the Windows platform.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in a choice of orange, yellow, black, or white, and is planned to be available first in China and Vietnam in early 2014, followed by other Asian markets, India and finally, European markets. A price of $339 has been quoted SIM-free, so this could really be a decent affordable option when it finally lands.
