Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 gets a UK launch

Maybe it's a weekend thing and a lack of staff to update the website. Either way, we're still waiting for pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 in the UK, despite an alleged UK launch on Saturday.

The phone, which made its official debut way back in June was confirmed as being available from the weekend just past, with EE being the first stockist of this 4G-friendly phone. After EE's first go with it, the phone will roll out to Carphone Warehouse, Tesco and other selected retailers.

When it does finally hit the shelves, it is likely to be at the affordable end of the 4G spectrum, with a set of features that scream low to mid-range.

Those include a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution LCD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage (with around 5GB available for your content) and a microSD slot for added storage for your media. There's also a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera,. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a host of Samsung features like S Translator, Smart Stay and S Voice and S Travel.

All that's missing are those pricing details, which are likely to vary depending on your usage and whether you go contract or pay-as-you-go. If you are desperate for one, you can always pop into an EE shop or get in touch with the company online. Failing that, just wait until the website updates.
