First details of Sony Xperia Z1 f appear online

Yes, another upcoming launch has broken cover, this time the Sony Xperia Z1 f.

The details come via the Xperia Blog, which seems to have acquired documentation from the Japanese NTT DoCoMo network pointing to a miniature version of Sony's Xperia Z1 flagship phone. currently codenamed the Honami mini.

Of course, it could be fake, but it's a lot of effort to go to in order to fake a potential release. It also fits in with previous NTT DoCoMo documentation, all of which leads us to believe that the launch is a very real one.

The image above is joined by a further image showing the phone in black, white, pink and yellow, with a spec sheet pointing to the same 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset found in the Xperia Z1, along with a 4.3-inch display with 720 x 1280 resolution, 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, a 2300mAh battery, the same 20.7-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 2.2-megapixel front camera. The phone will also have dust and water resistance.

No word on a launch for this at all, but we're hoping it isn't far off if these documents are true.
