This time last year we saw the Vu 2 and a year on, we've got the third incarnation. Or the LG Vu 3, if you like.Details are quite scarce, which is perhaps down to this being launched in Korea, but not really being talked about (as yet) by any of LG's international outlets. Will it be coming to the UK? We really don't know, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear anything. So for now, you might well see a phablet-esque smartphone with a distinctive 5.2-inch, 4:3 aspect IPS display with 1280 x 960 resolution, along with a Snapdragon Qualcomm 800 processor, 2GB RAM a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording plus 4G/LTE connectivity. There's also a stylus and some of Samsung's in-house apps as standard (including Knock On to wake your device with a tap), while Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) is the operating system. As we said, no clear indication as yet about this landing in the UK. We have everything crossed and hope we'll see it before the year is out. It's different, that's for sure, which is one very big reason for it to land here.
