Rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet leaks

It seems that a 10-inch tablet isn't enough for Samsung, with a 12.2-inch model likely to launch in the near future.

According to a listing on the Bluetooth authentication website, Samsung is working on a tablet going by the name of the SM-P901. Aside from it being a 12.2-inch tablet and having Bluetooth 4.0 (something you would expect to be confirmed by the Bluetooth authentication site), little else is known about it.

However, rumours do draw a bigger picture. Twitter leak specialists @evleaks have previously pointed to a 12.2-inch tablet back in July with an Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2560 x 1600 resolution display, 3GB RAM and Android 4.3, which went by the code name of SM-P900. As it packed an S-Pen stylus too, the reasoning is that this would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2.

No hint of any confirmation from Samsung as yet, but we wouldn't expect this device to have its own launch event. More likely, it would just be announced randomly by the company - and before Christmas, we would guess.
