Official LG G2 snap appears ahead of launch

To be fair, LG hasn't exactly been desperate to keep the LG G2 launch a secret. But we suspect it didn't plan on an official photo of its next flagship being in the public domain some hours before the big reveal.

But look above and you'll see the phone in all its glory, leaked by @evleaks on Twitter ahead of the event, which is scheduled for 11am EST, which means sometime in the evening for us.

The phone doesn't come with a handy spec sheet, just offer us a good look at what you'll find in your hand in the coming weeks (if you decide LG is for you), including that slightly quirky rocker switch for volume on the back.

However, leaks aplenty indicate that this phone will pack a 5.2-inch, 1080P display, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13-megapixel camera and a slot for a nano-SIM card format. The rest of the gaps should be filled in later, when we hoped to be wow'd by a few tricks once the G2 is switched on.

More on all of that later. In the meantime, just enjoy a look at the next LG flagship smartphone.
