No prizes for guessing what will be the headline act at the upcoming Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 event, with a heavy hint indicating the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be the main product on show. The 'handwritten' invite and the emphasise on 'NOTE' the date. You don't have to be Sherlock to work that one out. We expected it anyway - the last two Note models have been unveiled around the IFA event in Berlin, this one is no different, appearing just ahead of the main show on 4 September in Berlin. The only real guesswork is working out what the updated phablet will offer or indeed, if Samsung decides to unveil anything else at the event. As we mentioned yesterday, there is a strong rumour that Samsung will also unveil its Gear smartwatch too, although that is really down to rumours coming out of Korea rather than hard evidence. So it might just be the Note 3 on offer, which likely to be a phone with a 5.7-inch, 1080p AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.3 out of the box, with the possibility of screen variations depending on territory. All will be revealed in just under a month.
