Image of upcoming HTC One Max leaks

We heard it was likely to launch in September, but so far a look at the upcoming HTC One Max has evaded us. Not anymore.

This is the HTC phablet, looking rather like the mocked up image we have seen previously. But the shadow of photo taker across the screen indicates that this is very much a real thing.

The show is via Taiwanese site ePrice, which has somehow got its hands on the device early. It is said to offer a 5.9-inch display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and a 3,200mAh battery, with this model also including a dual-SIM slot, which is likely to be market specific. As for the design, it's not a great deal different to the HTC One and One Mini, screen size aside.

Other rumoured features include 2GB RAM, a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and a camera that's likely to be some variation of the UltraPixel camera from the original One smartphone.

The HTC One Max is said to be launching at the IFA event next month, so not long to wait for our hands-on.
