Android 4.3 rolling out to Nexus 4 in UK

One of the big plus points of buying a 'Google phone' is being at the front of the queue when it comes to updates. Indeed, just a week or so after it was unveiled as part of the new Nexus 7 rollout, Android 4.3 is already hitting Nexus 4 smartphones in the UK.

So you have, in effect, a new smartphone in your pocket if you invested in the LG-made Nexus 4 directly. Look out for the notification, download and you're away. There's only one downside really (apart from the download being 169.3MB). Android 4.3 doesn't offer as much as we were hoping.

It does have one killer feature, that being the ability to set up multiple users profiles, so one smartphone can be passed around the house or more specifically, used by your kids without them deleting things they shouldn't (or seeing things you'd rather they didn't). Aside from that, we're talking a set of tweaks, including enhanced Bluetooth, autocomplete for phone dialling and more language support.

All the good stuff is no doubt waiting for us in Key Lime Pie. But in the meantime, you can always get bragging rights with your Nexus-less mates by downloading this.
