We have known about it for some time, with a trickle of information turning into a torrent as the weeks have passed. But the saga known as the LG G2 launch could be about to end.Yes, that's right, the LG G2. No Optimus this time, which makes things nice and simple. The official unveil is in New York on 7 August, with the waiting press to be the 'first in the world' to see LG's next flagship smartphone and its back-mounted buttons, as shown above.A teaser video was also unveiled, although it offers precious little about the phone itself. In fact, just the same glimpse as the image above in the final frames. The rest is just…well, filler really. So we're left with the rumoured specification, which is headed up by a 5.2-inch, 1080P display, a 13-megapixel camera and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor inside. The rest will be revealed from the stage in a couple of weeks or so. Although we wouldn't bet on a major leak and some press shots beforehand.
