Sony Xperia Z Ultra could land in early September

It launched back in June and we got a hands-on with it not long after. But a shelf date for the Sony Xperia Z Ultra has been much tougher to pin down.

Networks have talked about stocking it in September, but no definite date or pricing has been given. Even now, we don't have much in the way of contract pricing. But we do have two UK shelf dates. Yes, that's right, two dates.

Expansys is first off the grid, claiming it will be shipping the Xperia Z Ultra from 6 September. If you want one, it will retail for £639.99 SIM-free. But hot on its heels is Clove, which claims to have stock on 13 September, but at a slightly reduced price of £599.99. Might be worth waiting the extra week.

Or indeed, it might be worth waiting for the networks, with the majority expected to stock it on contract deals. No dates for that yet, but with the two dates just being a week or so apart, I think you can second guess when the high street phone shops will be offering Sony's phablet.
