9 August could see launch of HTC One Mini

It's all speculation right now, but when speculation meets a previously good track record, we tend to give it more attention than usual.

We're talking HTC One Mini and its launch, now said to be heading to the UK on 9 August. That's according to the @ViziLeaks Twitter feed (and its aforementioned track record), which actually says it will hit UK stores on that date. So not long to wait at all if true.

We know a bit more about the phone too, thanks to a separate leak. That one is from the AndroidNext.de site, which also offers up the photo you can see above.

If the information from that site is correct (and the screenshots on that site suggest it is), the HTC One Mini will use the same 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera as the HTC One, as well as offering a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, a 4.3-inch screen with 720x1280 pixel screen, a dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB RAM. All of that with HTC's Sense UI on top.

If the shelf date is 9 August, the actual reveal could be much sooner. We have our ear to the ground and will let you know if we hear just when.
