When the Nokia Lumia 1020 got its official launch, the shelf date reported was 'this quarter'. Looks like the very end of the quarter is when we'll actually see it hit the UK.Networks, including O2 and Three, have been very keen to report that they will be stocking the camera phone on steroids, but no one has given out any concrete details. That is despite 'this quarter' already being eaten into by a couple of weeks. So enter Carphone Warehouse to offer a little clarity. It has just added the Nokia Lumia 1020 to its 'coming soon' section and with it, more specifics on that date. It seems we will not see the smartphone until September. Just inside 'this quarter', but any delay and it certainly will not be. We're a little disappointed with that to be honest. The US shelf date is 26 July, so potentially a couple of months to wait, missing the chance of taking holiday snaps on that 41-megapixel PureView camera.Let's hope the Windows Phone is worth the wait and priced to sell when it does arrive. In fact, if you are a network, any chance of some contract details? Be nice to know what we're looking at in the UK, even if it is a couple of months down the line.
