BlackBerry A10 caught on camera

Yesterday we were moaning that we had details of a future flagship BlackBerry and no image. Today we have that all-important product shot. So not too long to wait after all really.

In fact, there it is above, with the slightly curved design we were tipped off about yesterday. As we heard previously, the A10 (or Aristo as it is codenamed) will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual-core processor, 2GB RAM and a separate graphics processor. It is also the largest phone BlackBerry has ever made in terms of screen size.

On the downside, that screen doesn't look to cut it in flagship phone terms, offering just a 1280 x 720 resolution, compared to 1080p displays that are available on many devices right now. An 8-megapixel camera is also expected, which also seems a little behind the curve for a top end smartphone.

So we have the basic details and we have the image. Sadly, we don't have the launch date, but it is widely expected to be late in 2013.
