Press shot shows off Nokia Lumia 1020

When we saw a leaked image last week, we bemoaned the fact that it didn't show off the Nokia Lumia 1020 handset in all glory. Thankfully, someone has managed to acquire one ahead of the official launch this Thursday.

Windows Phone Central has acquired the new image, which shows off the screen we saw previously, along with the sizeable camera 'bump' and three colour options of yellow, black and white. It is said to be one of the biggest jumps in mobile photography, with the power of a Windows Phone as a rather nice bonus.

Talking of that camera, the site also mentions a few additional details that have been rumoured in the past. That includes the presence of a Xenon flash, optical images stabilisation built-in and that the camera does indeed take 32-megapixel and 5-megapixel shots at the same time in 16:9 aspect ratio. There's also a camera app, giving you control of ISO, White Balance, Manual focus, Shutter speed and Flash.

More generally, the 1020 is also said to have 2GB RAM (up from other high end Windows phones), 32GB storage (no card slot), NFC and a flip to silence mode. An optional wireless charging backplate will also be available.

Not long to wait for confirmation. Just a couple of days, in fact.
