LG Optimus G2 leaks on Twitter

We heard a rumour of a launch earlier this week, but now we have some early shots of the LG Optimus G2.

The images, almost inevitably, come via the @evleaks account on Twitter, showing that rumoured 'rocker' switch on the rear of the phone. For volume, camera use, both, no one is quite sure yet. But it is certainly a distinctive design feature.

Those shots seem to to come via a promotional video, which is hardly surprising as a launch is rumoured to be coming on 7 August for what is expected to be LG's next flagship phone.

Joining that switch is said to be a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800-soc processor, a 5-inch 1080p screen, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LG’s own Optimus interface.

We'll find out for sure in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, try and work out why that rocker switch on the back is a good idea.
