More details break on Huawei Ascend P6

Back in May, the evleaks Twitter account dropped an image of the upcoming Huawei Ascend P6 to whet our appetite ahead of a rumoured launch in London. Now the same Twitter account has shown off some shots of the interface, throwing in a confirmation of the specification too.

You can see what the interface looks like above and if you've forgotten, the actual phone should look like this. All that's missing is the specification. There have been rumours of that, but the usually reliable evleaks has thrown that into the mix too, claiming the P6 will come with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch 720p screen, an 8-megapixel camera with 4cm macro, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with face enhance and the new Emotion UI you can see here.

All of that packed into a phone just 6.18mm thick. It ties in with the rumours we have previously heard, only omitting the operating system, which we believe to be Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

We'll find out for sure at that event in London, with Huawei hoping that this super-slim phone catches the imagination of the world's tech press. On paper, it certainly looks a winner - and being Huawei, the P6 is probably going to be available at a favourable price too.
