We reviewed the Ascend W1 some time back, giving it a decent write-up in the process. Now, it looks like Huawei has a follow-up on the horizon, named the Ascend W2 (as you probably guessed). It hasn't launched officially, that could be something for later this month. But we have an image of it, along with a specification. So the launch is really just a formality. You can see the image above, which comes from serial leak specialist @evleaks, looking a little softer and curvier than the original model. If an earlier specification is to be believed, it should come with a 4.3-inch 720p IPS display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Windows Phone 8 for the OS, naturally.Huawei has previously confirmed a launch event for 20 June to show off new hardware. There's a good chance the W2 could be part of it.
