Huawei Ascend P6 image leaks

We got a glance at it earlier in the month, but we've now got a press shot of the Huawei Ascend P6, not to mention a launch date.

As we mentioned before, the selling point of this handset is its bulk - or lack of it. Just 6.18mm thin if rumours are to be believed. The latest image is via the @evleaks Twitter feed, showing the handset in all its glory, a metal chassis and the Emotion interface on the screen.

Previously, we heard it also offered up a 4.7-inch TFT screen (at 720p resolution), a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor for networking on the front. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is said to be the operating system.

Just to add some weight to this, a (later deleted) post by Huawei Device Chairman Richard Yu confirmed that the leaked device is part of the P series, and should be revealed at the company's 18 June event in London.

So not long to wait for a hands-on.
