Details of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 leak

At the end of April, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 got an official launch. If rumours are to be believed, Samsung is about to launch another slightly larger version of it.

That's according to the SamMobile site, which claims to have picked up an image (the one you can see here) and a specification for the slightly larger tablet. Design-wise, it looks similar, although it is said to have a thinner bezel and more level sensors.

As for the inner workings, the tablet will be available in both 3G and Wi-Fi versions, both with 16GB of storage. Running Android 4.2.2, it will have an 8-inch WXGA 1280×800 resolution screen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage (with MicroSD slot to boost further), a 1.3-megapixel on the front, 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 4450 mAh battery.

Logic would dictate a slightly bigger price tag soon, but we'll find out for sure next month, when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is down for launch.
