Nokia Lumia 925 makes an appearance

Nokia doesn't seem to bothered about keeping its upcoming hardware a secret, although we still don't know exactly what the company will offer with the Nokia Lumia 925.

That's the name we presume the new phone will launch with, although the rendered image shown off in the US of a phone called the Nokia Lumia 928, which is the name likely to be used in that particular country.

An image shows off the new phone with the expected slim aluminium casing, throwing in a mention of the 4G connectivity (although that could be US-only). However, the one notable thing here is, as Engadget points out, a flash that looks like the xenon bulb featured in the 808 PureView.

Which of course, brings us back to the story yesterday of a potential launch of a phone with 41-megapixel camera launching at next week's Nokia event. We weren't sure if this was instead of or alongside the Lumia, but it now looks like it might be one and the same thing. Interesting.

In other related news, Vodafone has confirmed that it is partnering with Nokia to sell the new hardware, without actually saying whist it is or what it is called. Just a matter of days to wait before we find out all about it though. We'll be on-hand to get hands-on, of course.
