Acer Iconia A1-810 tablet appears online

Not an official launch, but details of the Acer Iconia A1-810 tablet have sneaked out on a retailer's site, giving us the lowdown on another low price tablet.

The fact that it is on the Rue du Commerce site indicates a launch isn't far away, but with all the details spilled online, that launch probably isn't necessary.

That site claims the Iconia A1-810 is a 7.9-inch tablet, priced at €199 (around £169), which means an iPad mini size, but with a much-reduced price in comparison to that device.

For that money, you get a screen with a 1024x768 resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for the operating system. All of that in a device measuring 208.7 x 145.7 x 10.5mm and weighing in at 460g.

The French retailer claims the tablet will ship in June, so not too long to wait.
