Interesting sales tactic by Samsung, launching a tablet in the UK, but only in a corner of the capital. That certainly limits the initial market for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.Yes, if you want the latest 8-inch tablet from Samsung, you are going to have to book yourself a trip to the Samsung Experience Store in Westfield Stratford City, east London. Not too bad if you are keen on one and live in the capital. Slightly more inconvenient if you live in Aberdeen or Inverness. But Samsung assures us that other outlets will follow. Just not yet.If you are yet to be convinced about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, let us tell you that this is in the middle of that particular tablet range, sold with the company's S Pen and related apps (like all Note devices) and with a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The 16GB Wi-Fi model sells for £339, with a 3G model to follow. You might want to wait too (unless you are desperate to be first), as there are plenty of extras thrown in from 15th April. That includes a £20 voucher to spend in the Samsung Learning Hub, a two-month trial subscription to The Times newspaper worth £32, AVG Anti-Virus Pro, free access to the Samsung Music Hub for 1 month, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 and 50GB Drop Box free for 2 years.Presumably those extras coincide with the tablet rolling out to the wider public. In the meantime, check out our hands-on from the MWC event.
