When Samsung unveiled the gorgeous Galaxy S 4 last week, few people were thinking about its humble beginnings. However, just three years ago, the original Galaxy S landed in our hands and while that was a five-star device, selling a whopping 20 million units, we had no idea where it would lead us.
The following year came the ground-breaking Galaxy S II, with its 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, which shifted a stunning 28m units. However, that figure was knocked into a cocked hat by last year's stunning Samsung Galaxy S III which (as of March 2013) is owned by more than 50m people.
