Alleged shots of Samsung Galaxy S IV appears online

We don't really need to tell you that Samsung is readying the Galaxy S IV for a worldwide launch tonight. Our team is ready and waiting in New York, with Tweets and online updates keeping you updated as and when the news breaks. But a good amount of that news might have already been broken.

A Chinese web forum has posted up some high-resolution shots of what is said to be the Samsung Galaxy S IV, albeit a dual-SIM version that's unlikely to see the light of day in the UK. It could be a fake device, but as a working device in the shots, we're leaning towards this being the real thing.

The details that go alongside it claim the S IV will come with a 1080p 4.99-inch display with an embossed home key and textured plastic back cover, along with an Exynos 5410 1.8GHz 8-core processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, a microSD expansion slot and a 2600mAh battery.

Also confirmed is the Smart Stay eye tracking, which we have mentioned before, and a feature that lets users hover fingers over the display to produce a 'stylus-like' effect.

All of which whets the appetite nicely for the big launch. That launch is late tonight, so you might want to take a nap (or a strong coffee) if you want to stay up for the reveal. Otherwise, it will be here for you when you get up tomorrow morning.
