Sony C670X could launch this summer

We're not sure if this is Sony's idea of a new flagship phone or a partner for the Sony Xperia Z. What we do know is that the phone above is allegedly the upcoming Sony C670X.

That's unlikely to be the name of the phone, though. We're probably talking another Xperia variation when it launches this summer. If the rumours are to be believed, Sony will be putting its trust in a phone with a slightly smaller display than the Xperia Z at 4.8-inches (albeit a full HD one).

It will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset with 1.8GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera. Android 4.2 should be the operating system.

The image above is said to be that phone, looking not a million miles away from the Xperia Z. Whether it is the C670X is another thing altogether. All should be revealed as the nights get longer.
