Good news if your small screen isn't really big enough for your YouTube favourites. You can now zap them to a big screen.Yes, the latest update to the YouTube iOS app brings with it streaming to larger screens. Whether you can do that depends on the kit under your TV or indeed the TV itself. The update allows you to 'pair' with selected TVs from the last couple of years, selected models made by Bang & Olufsen, LG, Panasonic and Sony to be precise. If that's a little too niche, it also works via the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, as well as Apple TV. It's a neat feature, although you will need to follow instructions to hook up, which involves a device name and pairing code to set up.Google has also improved streaming over a slow Wi-Fi connection with this update, as well as integrating with YouTube Capture, which allows you to record and upload video. If that appeals, both app and update are available now.
