Motorola Razr HD finally heads to UK

It has taken some time since the US launch, but if you want a Motorola Razr HD, you can finally get one in the UK.

As we mentioned previously, the Jelly Bean Android smartphone packs a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, eight-megapixel rear camera, NFC and a 2,500mAh battery, which should keep you talking and networking for up to 20 hours from a single charge. It also has a tough Kevlar coating, a thin profile of 8.4mm and 4G connectivity. That last point probably sealed its fate in the UK.

That's because so few networks (EE excepted) actually offer a 4G service right now. So if EE doesn't like the look of it, the networks, at present, aren't going to touch it.

Which means going down the SIM-free route at the likes of,,,,, and, all of which will be selling the handset for around £400 without a contract.

Things could change as 4G makes inroads into the UK later in the year.
