Samsung Galaxy Fame heads to Three

The phone launched just over a week ago, with vague launch date of the end of March. It now looks like the Samsung Galaxy Fame will be here a little sooner.

The Three network is the first to confirm its arrival in the UK, ahead of even Samsung itself. That information comes from the network's own coming soon page, which has the mini-sized Android smartphone as arriving in February. That's interesting because the official launch date given was 25 March. So either things have been pushed along a little quicker or Three has some kind of exclusive on this.

The specification doesn't seem to have changed, looking at the Three page. That means you still get a 3.5-inch Fame with HVGA display, a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB of storage, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, VGA front camera and Samsung's Hub Lite, S Cloud and Motion UI.

Sadly, Three doesn't give a contract price, but this is likely to be well off the top of the range when it lands. If both potential price and phone interest you, Three will keep you updated ahead of the sales date.
