Updated LG Optimus G Pro appears online

Confusing stuff from the LG camp. Back in January, the company launched the LG Optimus G Pro in Japan, a possible flagship phone that was expected to be heading our way soon. Now, another version of the phone has appeared online. What gives?

We don't know, but we do know that the phone pictured above has a larger 5.5-inch screen than the one previously shown off (at 5 inches), but does have the same name. I know, confusing stuff.

The new phone doesn't really change apart from the screen size, though. The rest of the details, a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon with LTE, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera all match up to the previous launch.

You wonder if different screen sizes are for different territories or if someone has just had a change of mind before the phone has been sent to retail. We'll find out for sure when the phone gets UK confirmation. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.
