Nokia Music+ gets an official launch

The Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 launches saw Nokia Music streaming offered for free to purchasers. If you want more, you can have more with Nokia Music+. But you'll have to pay for it.

Nokia has just announced its new music service and despite the word 'pay' being involved, it looks like a decent offer. The prices given from the off are €3.99/$3.99, which hints at a £3.99 price for the UK. With Spotify (and others) coming in at £9.99, we're already tempted. If you are not, don't worry - the freebie service will still run alongside this.

But if you are willing to pay the money, Nokia Music+ offers unlimited skips compared to the free version and unlimited downloads, offering you offline tunes as and when you need them. You also get higher quality streaming, lyrics and the option to play on your desktop as well as your smartphone (via a web app).

Nokia Music+ will roll out in the next few weeks, so we'll know for sure if it is coming to the UK. We expect so - and we expect that tempting £3.99 price when it does land.
