EE introduces cheaper 4G tariff

If you happen to be in an area that caters for EE's 4G network and have yet to be tempted in, some cheaper deals might just sway you.

With competition looming from the likes of O2 and Vodafone, it looks like EE is trying to pull in the users now ahead of any deals from those networks. It has one killer selling point too - you can use the network right now. Or at least, you can if you are a town/city dweller in a place the network currently covers.

If you want cheap, EE has cheap. Well, cheaper, anyway - that being a £31 monthly deal, which gets you unlimited UK calls and texts, plus 500MB of mobile data. You'll need to add the cost of the phone on top of that though, as well as some self control when it comes to using data. That's a 24-month deal. If you want it for 12 months, you are looking at £41 per month.

At the other end of the spectrum is a new deal designed for data guzzling 'super-users', which offers an impressive 20GB of monthly data. £46 is the price of that SIM-only, or £61 if you want the phone too. But that's a limited deal, which you'll need to sign up to before the end of February. After that date, that deal theoretically goes to £61 per month for the SIM-only deal or £76 per month with the phone, with the £15 discount no longer applicable.

Whether the prices will rise in light of all that competition is another thing altogether. But that's the line right now, so if you want the deal, you might not want to take the risk of it being pulled in just over a month.
