Samsung Galaxy Fonblet could be heading to Europe

Samsung has a new super-sized smartphone heading our way - and it isn't the Galaxy Note III.

It is the Samsung Galaxy Fonblet. I know, interesting name, but not a completely new concept. According to SamMobile, this is a new version of the previously-launched Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8, owing the name to its 5.8-inch display. And yes, the Fonblet will be going super-sized too.

Details are still thin on the ground, but the original source claims it will have dual-SIM support and will be in pure white, running Android Jelly Bean from launch. If it is a take on the media player with phone capabilities, we could theoretically expect a 5.8-inch TFT screen with qHD resolution display, a 3-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 4.0 in the mix, but we suspect Samsung isn't going to launch a new smartphone with a 3-megapixel camera in 2013, so take all of that with a large pinch of salt.

We'll probably have to wait for the launch to get confirmation of just what it will offer. But with a European launch already being talked about, the wait is unlikely to be long. MWC in February would be a good bet.
