HTC M7 finally caught on camera

Well, it didn't launch at the CES event as rumoured, but just days after, an image of the HTC M7 has appeared online.

Sadly, it's not a working model in someone's hand, but a render. We're not complaining though - it's as near as we've got so far to seeing the next HTC flagship phone. Or at least, that's what we're led to believe it is.

The image doesn't give much away, but the details alongside it claim the M7 has a 4.7-inch, full HD display and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor. Previous rumours have also pointed to 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage, Android Jelly Bean, the Sense 5 interface, a 13-megapixel camera and a new image sensor called Cinesensor, providing increased image quality and improved features, including super slow-mo. That camera is likely to be a key selling point here.

The render is apparently part of a short animation clip instructing new owners on first-time SIM card installation, hence the lack of much detail. The finished phone is now expected to be on show at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, so not too long to wait to see it.
