HTC's flagship M7 phone launch imminent

It has been talked about for a few weeks now, but the latest leak suggests that the HTC M7 could be launching officially as soon as next week.

That's according to (usually) reliable tipsters Football4PDA, who have a decent record when it comes to industry insights. According to the latest tweet, the M7 'might' be announced at CES, which is earlier than the expected launch of the MWC event in February.

They also add that it will differ from the phone it is likely to replace, the HTC One X (pictured above), with screen buttons rather than hardware touch buttons.

Previous leaks have indicated a full HD 4.7-inch screen with a pixel density of 468PPI, a 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage, Android Jelly Bean, the Sense 5 interface, a 13-megapixel camera and a new image sensor, known as Cinesensor, which offers increased image quality and improved features, including super slow-mo. So quite a phone, on the face of it.

All could be revealed by this time next week, we'll obviously have someone on the ground at CES just in case that happens.
