BlackBerry L-Series phone caught on camera

A lot of renders have leaked out, along with one slightly distant shot of the real thing. But this latest photo of the upcoming BlackBerry L-Series phone is the best we've seen so far.

As you probably noticed, this shot, which was actually taken in Vietnam, is the touch-screen version of the BlackBerry 10 handset, the other being the N-Series, complete with QWERTY keyboard. Expect a photo of that soon. The one caught here shows a phone with a removable back cover, NFC antenna, micro-SIM and microSD slots, a removable 1,800mAh battery, metallic volume 'rocker', micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports and… well, that's all that can be ascertained from the external shot.

Other features previously leaked include a 4.2-inch display with a 1280 x 768 resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash on the rear of the phone, along with a 2-megapixel networking camera and 1080p video recording.

All should be revealed very soon, with a launch in January and phones said to be selling as soon as February 2013. In the meantime, enjoy that photo.
