Sony Xperia J now available in the UK

The phone launched a few months back and was reviewed by us recently, when we found it to be decent, but nowhere near the top-end Xperia T. However, the Sony Xperia J has one thing on its side which is price.

The phone has just hit the Three network in the UK and if you are after an Xperia without breaking the bank, it might be worth a look. If you want one, contracts start at a reasonable £13 per month including the free phone or if you want to go PAYG, the phone is yours for £149.99, as long as you buy a first top up.

For that, you get a phone with a 4-inch 480x854 display, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, microSD support, Bluetooth 2.0 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from launch. Regarding the latter, it's worth noting that Sony has confirmed an upgrade to Jelly Bean, but nothing has been confirmed date-wise as yet.

If all that appeals, head over to Three. Just make sure you read our review first.
