Samsung Galaxy Premier leaks on Twitter

First image follows on from rumoured specification
The Twitter account @evleaks has been responsible for a number of handset leaks in the past, so it is no surprise to see another break via its feed, the Samsung Galaxy Premier.
The phone has been doing the rounds online for a while now, but only in terms of a basic breakdown of features. This is the first image of the handset, which is expected to slip into the top end of Samsung's range alongside the Galaxy S III and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
There isn't a lot of detail with the image, simply a message saying: 'Samsung GT-I9260 (Galaxy Premier?) in the wild.' So it's just as well that those details about the phone's inner workings have previously appeared online.
That points to an Android smartphone running Jelly Bean from launch and with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720p resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a microSD slot and as you might have guessed, Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
Samsung looks to have the premium end of its range pretty well catered for right now, so it will be interesting to see just how Samsung will pitch the Galaxy Premier. We should find out fairly soon if this is a finished handset, as an announcement is likely to be made before the year is out.
